If you haven’t made it out to the new hot restaurant and hangout, Sundown at Granada, you’ll need to put it on your to-do list ASAP. Of course we love it (we are a little biased) but here is what other folks around town have to say.

A cozy, comfortable and inviting atmosphere named and created after the owner Michael Schoder’s Canadian hometown.

“The overall feel is, again, not unlike being in someone’s home, encouraging you to linger over drinks and conversation.” Preston Jones, dfw.com

“Picture a swanky 1970s lake house [...]. Red and green vintage couches. Walls made from wood donated by some neighbors.” UrbanDaddy

“[...] warm, dark woods and earthy accessories that inspire visions of a lakefront cabin or library (or both mixed together).” Raya Ramsey, Side Dish

Not just a restaurant but also a great place to hang out for a quick meal before your upcoming show or to grab a beverage after it.

“[...] a perfect spot, however, to discuss your favorite act post-performance and perhaps mingle with band members [...]” Raya Ramsey, Side Dish

“Perfect place to go before a show at Granada, for a date, or dinner before drinks on Greenville.” Lauren R, Yelp.com

“[...] provide a welcome alternative for those seeking a fresh happy hour/pre-show or post-show culinary destination.” Preston Jones, dfw.com

A wide variety of food, over 60 brews on tap and many specialty cocktails to choose from.

“[...] everything from vegan and vegetarian dishes & flat breads to steak, burgers and delicious other dishes.” Mark Ambrose, MyDallasMusic.com

“[...] best tasting vegetarian food I have had in Dallas. And the other people were raving about the burgers.” says Eric Nadel (Voice of the Texas Rangers), Nancy Nichols, Side Dish

“[...] a Sundown Tea, a homemade tea concoction spiced with jalapeno, and a Cucumber Cilantro ‘Tini. Both were tasty, [...]” Raya Ramsey, Side Dish

“[...] the “electric, international, approachable and foodie-friendly” menu kicks off with small plates of Mike’s Avo Bomb’s (‘cado halves filled with the likes of Chicken  Waldorf/sun-dried tomatoes/almonds) [...]” Thrillist Dallas

You’ll want to stick around until springtime for the upcoming changes.

“[...] there’ll be a rooftop bar where you can drink a shiner next to the Granada sign.” UrbanDaddy

“[...] this place is going to be a juggernaut with the patio.” says Granada chef Patrick Stark, Teresa Gubbins, Pegasus News

Sundown at Granada is rated #7 at “The Eater Dallas Heat Map: Where to Eat Right Now.”
