Van Pierszalowski band WATERS (all caps) took off in 2011 after he retired his last band Port O’Brien. His new project features him and four Norwegian guys — Surprisingly, they didn’t bring their Black Metal gauntlets or face paint.
WATERS opened for Delta Spirit when they came to Granada on April 14. St. Louis’ KDHX reviewed the show for the St. Louis leg of the tour, a few days after Dallas.
“Tousling his hair and generally freaking out as he played guitar, he lead the group through a mixture of ’90s indie rock and Surf/Folk…With a little work, Pierszalowski and his band could very well come up to the level of other similar artists”
We also have a gallery of WATERS at the April 14 show in Granada.
WATERS and Air Review open for Nada Surf at Granada on Thursday June 28. Tickets range from $20-22 (w/ fees and taxes) Doors open at 8pm
