The Granada Theater presents the A.Dd+ DiveHiFlyLo Release party on Saturday, January 26, 2013. The duo who had a huge night at the 2012 Dallas Observer Music Awards, winning Best Group Act, Best Rap/Hip-Hop Act, will release the Mixed Tape “DiveHiFlyLo” at their first headlining show at the Granada Theater. Also performing, BRAINGANG, Tunk and Topic. The first single Suitcases is a taste of what to expect on the release. Opening for the likes of Erykah Badu and Wu-Tang Clan, the duo is backed by the Dallas Observer’s 2011 Best DJ; DJ Sober. Meeting in a North Dallas apartment complex where they both lived in 2000, then finally making it official in 2007 and A.Dd+ was born.

BRAINGANG  is a Los Angeles born & Dallas raise Producer and Rapper. He is known for his extensive production work with national hip hop artist such as, Kendrick Lamar (P&P, P&P 1.5, & Faith), Mac Miller (Down The Rabbit Hole), Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, & Dorrough Music. Tunk is from Dallas and is notorious for his masterful lyrics. His career started with the release of his first mixtape, “Talk Of The Town”. Topic is from West L.A. and grew up in West Covina. He has worked with Akon, Trey Songz, The Game and Jagged Edge.

A.Dd+ has been received much well-deserved attention from national media and have been compared to Outkast and UGK. In 2011, Pitchfork.com named their first release, “When Pigs Fly” as their favorite underrated rap releases of the year. Spin named them one of the 5 Best New Artists for May 12 and their set at was included inFun Fun Fun Fest 2012′s Best 20 Sets.

Here is a non-album cut of their new song The Plus is Silent from TheLocal Yokel Show session the band just did.  The album drops in March and the only place to get the album now is at the Granada Theater during the release party. They will also premiere a video at the show.
