Frequently asked questions.

Where are you located?
We’re located on Dallas’ historic Lower Greenville Avenue, Southeast of SMU’s campus, West of White Rock Lake and Northeast of Downtown Dallas.

Where can I park and how much?
Our parking lot is located directly behind the theater and costs $8 cash - we do not accept card.
Street parking is available in the neighborhood but please take note of “NO PARKING” signs and be respectful of our residential neighbors.

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available for purchase at Granadatheater.com through our official ticketing site, Prekindle. Always buy through the official site and avoid reseller and scalper websites like Stubhub.
Tickets can also be purchased night-of at our box office unless the show is sold out; you may also purchase tickets to other shows here.

Do I need to print my tickets?
You can print tickets or have them on your phone; As long as the barcode is visible and hasn’t yet been scanned, you’ll gain entry. Tickets can even be added to Apple Wallet!

Does the theater serve food?
No, but you can grab dinner at our scratch-kitchen restaurant next door, Sundown at Granada!

Can I bring in food or drinks?
In consideration of TABC laws and health-code reasons, we don’t allow any outside food or beverages inside the theater.

Is there an age limit?
Shows with age limits will be indicated on Granada’s Prekindle ticket page. We generally do not allow anyone under 18 in without a parent or guardian.

Do I need my ID to get in?
Yes, if you plan on drinking. Guests over 21 will receive a different wristband from those under drinking age.

How can I pay for things?
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted at the bars and box office.

Do you have a lost and found?
All cards left at the bar are turned into Sundown at Granada next door and can be picked up during business hours. For help locating other lost items, call our office at 214.841.4900.

What’s the difference between Granada Theater and Sundown at Granada?
We have two venues; Granada Theater, a historic-movie-theater-turned-concert-venue which can host up to 1,100 people, and our more intimate stage at Sundown at Granada located next door.
Granada Theater has a floor and balcony level and typically hosts larger nationally touring acts while Sundown features local, acoustic and niche shows.

What is seating like at the Granada Theater?
Every show is different; Shows will either be General Admission, have seating or be a mix of both.
GA is designated as “standing-room-only”, meaning you can stand in any GA area. A seated ticket will have a section, row and seat number chosen at the time of purchase.

Is the theater handicap-accessible?
We make it a point to accommodate every guest where possible; Handicap-accessible areas are located on the floor level. Just ask our Serenity staff (security) for help! If you may require additional accommodations, please call our office at 214.841.4900.

Can I bring my camera to the show?

Cell phone cameras are more than welcome and encouraged though (unless limited by the artist) - Tag us and the artist on social media!

Can I bring a backpack?
Due to safety concerns of all our guests, backpacks and oversized bags are not permitted. Purses and small bags are subject to search.
